Sponsor one Child and give Hope to a Nation

Mission of Hope HAITI

I had the opportunity to hear about Brad Johnson’s “Mission of Hope” this past Sunday at Hill Country Bible Church, in Austin, Texas, and I wanted to share his story with you.

Brad is the Director and President of  Mission of Hope in Haiti.  He, and his wife, Vanessa, moved to Haiti on a full time basis in October 1998. They have dedicated their lives to God's vision for Haiti: to reach every person in Haiti for Jesus Christ. They have four children, two which are Haitian.  Their ministries include the School of Hope.

“The School of Hope is currently in need of sponsors. Without Sponsorship, many of the students would not be able to attend school.

School of Hope has approximately 1,300 students enrolled  from kindergarten through High School

Church of Hope  is open to whosoever desires to come together to worship God and learn more about having an intimate, life-changing experience with Him. Over 600 children, youth and adults come from nearby villages to attend Sunday Morning Worship service!

Hope House provides a loving home and 24 hour care for 58 children at this time.  Future plans include moving to a larger facility that can house and minister to even more children. The Village of Hope project is a dream that is becoming reality! Construction is underway on the first 16 houses. Once the Village of Hope is completed the Hope House will be able to care for 240 children in 40 homes! There are also plans for a sports facility, learning center and dining hall for the Village of Hope.

Hospital of Hope is under construction and when completed will include:

· Daily Medical and Ministry Clinics

· 24-Hour Emergency Room

· Surgical Unit

· Wards for Children, Women, and Men

Clinic of Hope  Opened July of 2008, seeing an average of 60 patients per day, before the earthquake.  Equipped with a pharmacy and lab.

There are many organizations asking for donations right now, but I wanted to share this one with you, as they were in Haiti long before the recent earthquake, and they will be there long after Haiti is no longer in the news.  Mission of Hope is making a difference in Haiti, one child at a time, and you can be part of that.

If you have been looking for a way to make a difference, please prayerfully consider  sponsoring a child in Haiti.  And see the difference your help can make in the life of a child, not just today, but for years to come.  The message I heard on Sunday, was a powerful message and I encourage you to listen to it and to share it.   I hope you don’t mind my sharing this message with you. I didn’t mean to intrude.
